BLUE LIGHT CAUSE MISSION

Welcome to Blue Light Cause, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Mission is to provide love, support, encouragement, but most importantly pray for our Heroes here in Southern California. Crystal Bran, is the President and Founder of Blue Light Cause. Her husband is a K9 officer, here in Southern California.

How did Blue Light Cause start? When Crystal Bran (Founder) saw the protests, riots, negativity, hate in the year 2020, she knew deep in her heart she wanted to do something. She wanted to stand for love, support, encouragement, but most importantly, to be LIGHT for our Heroes.

At the time, Crystal was following on her personal page another Police Wife, Rebecca and she had mentioned how she was going to be doing goody bags for her Husband’s Department. Crystal thought “I can do goody bags not just for my Husband’s Department but for other departments as well.”

So in October 2020, she mentioned on her personal page she would be doing goody bags for 3 police departments. She was hoping to receive at least 3 donations. At the end, she received a total of 15 donations! This was a huge success and helped her kick start this organization.

Crystal Bran knew she wanted to expand this so in December 2020, she created Blue Light Cause Public Page on Instagram. Unfortunately, in September 2022 their page was hacked. This didn’t stop Crystal from continuing their Mission. So in October 2022, their NEW page on Instagram was created. But this time with extra protection on it.

We have now been delivering to our Heroes for 3 years. Our team consists of Law Enforcement Wives or those who have family in Law Enforcement. We deliver to 4 police departments on a monthly basis. We do about 300-350 goody bags per month. Each goody bag has 7 items for our Heroes. It has a Sports Drink, Bag Of Chips, Granola Bar, Pack Of Trident Gum, Hand Sanitizer/Wipes, a Thin Blue Line Flag with a Police Support Sticker. We also provide Bibles specifically for Law Enforcement, Energy Drinks, an Appreciation Cards and more.

Our monthly deliveries are all based on donations. If you would like to help or donate towards our Mission, please do so. No amount or help is too small. Every donation makes a HUGE difference.
